Schedule Announced for Cape Cod Chamber Music Festival

BARNSTABLE – The Cape Cod Chamber Music Festival will launch its 38th season on August 1st and will present 12 concerts across the region throughout the month.

The annual program is once again headed by Executive Director Elaine Lipton and Artistic Directors Jon Nakamatsu and Jon Manasse. The festival has been a staple on Cape Cod since 1979 and is a year-round presenter of chamber music locally.

Brahms in the Café. Tuesday, August 1, 7:30 p.m. at the Cotuit Center for the Arts.

The Virtuosic Quartet. Wednesday, August 2, 7:30 p.m. at the Church of the Holy Spirit in Orleans.

The Power of Wind. Friday, August 4, 7:30 p.m. at the First Congregational Church in Wellfleet.

Three Emersons and One Jon. Monday, August 7, 7:30 p.m. at the First Congregational Church in Wellfleet.

The Teacher and the Student. Tuesday, August 8, 7:30 p.m. at the Cotuit Center for the Arts.

Strauss Piano Quartet. Thursday, August 10, 7:30 p.m. at the First Congregational Church in Chatham.

Borromeo and the Ancient Flute. Tuesday, August 15, 7:30 p.m. at the Cotuit Center for the Arts.

Borromeo and the Ancient Flute. Wednesday, August 16, 7:30 p.m. at the Dennis Union Church.

A Mass at the Opera. Friday, August 18, 7:30 p.m. at the First Congregational Church in Wellfleet.

Ying Residency: The Ying Quartet. Monday, August 21, 7:30 p.m. at the Church of the Holy Spirit in Orleans.

Ying Residency: The Art of Song. Wednesday, August 23, 7:30 p.m. at the First Congregational Church in Chatham.

Ying Residency: The Brahms Quintets. Friday, August 25, 7:30 p.m. at the First Congregational Church in Wellfleet.
