YARMOUTH – Cape and Islands State Senate Candidate Anthony Schiavi has been endorsed by the Yarmouth firefighters union.
In a statement, Schiavi said he would advocate for firefighters in Yarmouth on Beacon Hill.
“All of our public safety professionals are vitally important to ensure the people of Cape Cod and the Islands always feel safe and secure in their community,” Schiavi said.
Schiavi, a Republican, is running against Democrat Julian Cyr for the seat. Incumbent Senator Dan Wolf is not seeking re-election.
