SOUTH YARMOUTH – Applications are being accepted by the Cape Cod Foundation for this year’s scholarship program. Last year, 138 students were awarded a portion of the $420,000 which was dispersed. Individual donors, businesses, and community groups fund the program.
All types of students and educational pursuits are eligible. Awards typically range from $500 to $8,000. Many students will be eligible for multiple scholarships.
Although most are aimed at high school seniors or those already in college, adult learners also qualify.
Many are available only to a specific group, such as those who plan to enroll in a particular program, live in a designated town, are attending a specific high school college or university, etc.
