MASHPEE – Mashpee Police are re-opening a section of Route 28 after a man barricaded himself at Audio Video Solutions earlier today.
Police blocked off the roadway from Shellback Way to Industrial Road and area businesses were evacuated.
Mashpee Police Chief Scott Carline aid that the barricaded man had multiple firearms including a high power rifle.
There were negotiations between police and the man, before police were able to reach him and transport him to a local hospital.
