Section of Route 6A in Dennis Shut Down ‘Until Further Notice’ Due to Accident

DENNIS – A motor vehicle crash has closed down a stretch of Route 6A in Dennis for an unknown period of time. 

The Dennis Police Department reports that a car crashed into a utility pole in the town, forcing emergency crews to close down the road 

Just after 3:00 p.m. Friday, Dennis Police tweeted, “Due to a motor vehicle crash that just occurred and caused damage to a utility pole, Route 6A between The Dennis Public Market and Black Ball Hill Road in Dennis Village will be closed until further notice.”

The cause of the crash or condition of the driver involved is unknown at this time. No time frame has been provided as to when access to that section of Route 6A will be available again.
