Self-service Laundry Robbed in Falmouth

Falmouth Police Department 1FALMOUTH – Falmouth Police are investigating a robbery at the self-service laundromat on Scranton Avenue.

A approximately 2 p.m., officers responded to 32 Scranton Avenue in response to a burglar alarm.

The officers found that a window at the back of the building had been forced open as well as other evidence of a break.

A k-9 unit from the Barnstable County Sheriff’s Office as well as a Criminal Identification Officer was called to the scene to assist.

No suspects were located in the building or around the immediate area.

The incident remains under investigation by the Falmouth Police Department and the Barnstable County Sheriff’s Office.
