Senatori Named Acting Executive Director of Cape Cod Commission

BARNSTABLE – The Barnstable County Commissioners have tapped a new Acting Executive Director of the Cape Cod Commission.

The board approved the recommendation from the Commission to appoint former Deputy Director Kristy Senatori to the position. Senatori has been with the Commission since 2008 and was promoted to Deputy Director in 2012. She previously served as the Chief Regulatory Officer for the organization.

“I want to thank Barnstable County leadership and the Cape Cod Commission for their support during this transition,” said Senatori. “We have a talented and dedicated staff committed to the mission of the agency and I’m confident we will continue to lead on important regional priorities for the Cape.”

Senatori takes over for Paul Niedzwiecki, who had served as Executive Director for the Commission since 2007.

Niedzwiecki recently departed to head up the Southfield Redevelopment Authority in Weymouth, the regulatory body in charge of the redevelopment of the former Weymouth Naval Air Station, a 1,400-acre project across Abington, Rockland, and Weymouth.
