Series of Lower Cape Selectmen Will Not Seek Re-Election

CHATHAM – Changes are on the way for a number of Lower Cape Boards of Selectmen.

In Harwich, Selectman Jannell Brown has announced that she will not seek re-election. Her three-year term expires in May.

Chatham Selectman Amanda Love resigned earlier this month, citing time constraints. Love was elected to the board in 2016.

Love’s seat will not be filed via a special election. Voters will instead elect her replacement at annual town meeting in May.

Incumbent Chatham selectmen Dean Nicastro and Cory Metters have announced plans to run for re-election when their terms expire in May.

Longtime Orleans Selectman Jon Fuller said he will not run for re-election this spring. He has spent six terms on the board.
