Sewer Construction Continues in Chatham

CHATHAM – The Chatham Natural Resources Department is offering residents an update to the town’s sewer construction project.

There continues to be multiple teams working simultaneously. The first crew is working on Earls Way, the second will be stationed on Tabitha Terrace, and a third team will be installing drainage on Oyster Pond Furlong.

Additionally, the contractor will be conducting a series of tests and cleanup work at various locations throughout the week.

Work hours are from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and the affected roads will be open nights and weekend. Police will be on scene to assist motorists around the work area.

As always, the work schedule is subject to change due to the weather.
