Sewer Construction Continues in Chatham

CHATHAM – Construction crews are continuing work in Chatham this week in a number of locations.

As in weeks past, there are three teams working simultaneously. The first crew is working on Spinnaker Road, the second will be stationed on Village Landing, and the third team will be installing drainage on Oyster Pond Furlong.

The contractor will be conducting a series of tests and cleanup work at various locations throughout the week.

Next week, work will continue on Spinnaker Road before moving on to Earle’s Way. The other crews will remain on Village Landing and Oyster Pond Furlong.

Work hours are from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and the affected roads will be open nights and weekend. Police will be on scene to assist motorists around the work area.

The work schedule is subject to change due to the weather.
