CHATHAM – The Atlantic White Shark Conservancy reports that a shark it helped to rescue during the summer has made its way to Canada.

The great white known as “Jamison” washed ashore in Chatham early in July, but thanks to those who found it and more than one Cape Cod agency, the Conservancy was able to help save its life – but not before outfitting it with a GPS monitor.

It was reportedly spotted last month just north of Cape Bretton Island.

The Conservancy is conducting a 5-year population study of the animals.
