ORLEANS–A white shark sighting was confirmed at Nauset Beach in Orleans Saturday afternoon after a seal predation.
The water was closed just before 10 a.m., and swimming is banned until 11.

UPDATE: Another sighting was confirmed at Nauset South Beach, and the no-swimming band has been extended to 11:35 a.m. Swimming will be re-opened if there are no shark sightings until then.
