Sheriff Endorses Republican State Committeeman

BARNSTABLE – Barnstable County Sheriff James Cummings has endorsed Cape and Islands Republican Party State Committeeman Fran Manzelli.

“Fran is a strong advocate for the republican team here on Cape Cod,” Cummings said. “We need partners on the Republican State Committee to support candidates at every level, especially those with strong records on public safety and the opioid epidemic. Fran Manzelli is, and will continue to be, one of those leaders.”

Manzelli, a Barnstable resident, is running for re-election and faces a challenge from Ron Beaty.

Manzelli serves as President of the Cape Cod Republican Club, a grassroots organization of conservatives who work together to support republican candidates and causes.

The Republican State Committee consists of 80 members, one man and one woman from each of the 40 state senate districts.
