Sheriff Seeking to Help for Kids in Need of Toys

sheriffBOURNE – The Barnstable County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help replenishing holiday toys purchased by the Cape Cod Military Support Foundation.

The toys that had been donated were all destroyed in a fire last month at Joint Base Cape Cod.

The Foundation is planning to give the newly collected toys to the 800 children of military families who live on Joint Base.

Unwrapped toys, sports equipment, stuffed animals and other items for both genders can be dropped off at the Barnstable County Correctional Facility in Bourne.

The deadline is December 8 and a party with Santa Claus will be held a few days later.
