WEST BARNSTABLE – Cape Cod Community College is hosting the “Sisters in STEM” event Wednesday night as a part of Massachusetts STEM Week.
The event is coordinated by the Cape Cod Regional STEM Network.
The college will be welcoming dozens of middle school-aged girls from the Cape and Islands to explore science, technology, math, and engineering.
Activities will include a shark dissection and 3D print designing.
The event is free to all girls in grades six through eight, and runs from 5 to 7:30 p.m. The event is also supported by the Atlantic White Shark Conservancy and 500 Women Scientists.
