WELLFLEET – “Skills Day” will train Lower and Outer Cape firefighters Saturday at the Wellfleet Elementary School.
The training will cover scenarios having to do with fires in buildings with solar panels on the roof, vertical ventilation, and how to handle a mayday call on the fire grounds.
Barnstable Fire Department Deputy Chief Peter Burke will present the latter session.
The proceedings will begin at 9 a.m.
The public is welcome to observe.
