Several Cape Museums to Offer Free Admission

HYANNIS – Residents and visitors on Cape Cod will be able to visit several museums for free Saturday, September 21 as part of Smithsonian Museum Day.

The one-day event features free entry to participating museums and cultural institutions to anyone presenting a Museum Day ticket.

A ticket provides free admission for two people.

Local participating organizations include the John F. Kennedy Hyannis Museum, Cape Cod Maritime Museum, Cahoon Museum of American Art, Sandwich Glass Museum, Falmouth Museums on the Green, Marconi-RCA Wireless Museum, Atwood Museum – Home of the Chatham Historical Society, and Egan Maritime’s Nantucket Shipwreck & Lifesaving Museum.
