CHATHAM – Residents and Visitors to the Cape will have a chance to get an “up-close” look at the presidential election and its media coverage next month in Chatham.

The Second installment of the Chatham Marconi Maritime Center’s Ed Fouhy Distinguished Speaker Series will feature Beth Fouhy, the senior political editor for NBC News and MSNBC.

Fouhy is supervising the networks’ coverage of the 2016 presidential race and she will share her insights into today’s political landscape.

She has followed in the footsteps of her father Ed, who the speaker series is named after, and has spent the past two decades covering politics for media organizations that include CNN and the Associated Press.

Fouhy frequently appears as an analyst on the TV shows “Hardball,” “Meet the Press” and “MSNBC Live.”

The event will be held Thursday, October 13 at 7 p.m. in the auditorium of the Monomoy Regional Middle School.

Tickets are $20, $10 for center members and $8 for students. Reservations can be made by emailing [email protected].
