Special Events, Exhibits Cape End of Heritage Season

The Heritage Museum and Gardens

SANDWICH – Visitors to Sandwich have another month to experience the exhibits, gardens and special events at Heritage Museums & Gardens.

The main season at Heritage ends on Columbus Day and visitors still have time to view the special exhibit, Painted Landscapes: Contemporary Views, and Driven to Collect, which takes attendees back to the 1960s with several classic cars.

Autumn will also be in bloom with the largest public garden in southern New England.

A special event comes to Heritage on Saturday, September 23 with the Hoppy Fall Festival.

The event features beer tastings from local Massachusetts breweries, home brewing demos, food trucks, backyard games and more.

Heritage will also offer its premium experience through September 17. The 90-minute, concierge-led, custom experience allows visitors to go where the general public cannot, have conversations with experts and participate in interactive activities.

The premium experience is offered twice daily at 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
