CHATHAM – Residents at Special Town Meeting in Chatham tonight will consider four warrant articles, most notably one to fund the town’s official response to the Monomoy Wildlife Refuge Draft Management Plan.
The town is opposed to the plan, which calls for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to take control of 700 acres of South Beach.
Chatham is asking for $300,000 to fund the response.
Special Town Meeting gets underway at 6:30 at Monomoy Middle School.
