SSA to Discuss New Building, Proposed Fare Hikes


WOODS HOLE – The Steamship is holding a series of public meetings beginning this week to bring the public up to speed on the construction project in Woods Hole and proposed changes to vehicle fare prices.

A meeting this afternoon will focus on the proposed design of the Authority’s new building, it is scheduled at 4:30 in the Hermann Foundation Meeting Room at the Falmouth Public Library. Tomorrow night the Board of Governors moves over to the Vineyard for a meeting at the Martha’s Vineyard Playhouse at 4.

The monthly board meeting, where the increase in summer fares is expected to be considered, is scheduled for Tuesday October 16th at Martha’s Vineyard High School at 3:30. All of the meetings are open to the public.
