BARNSTABLE – Summer is winding down and that means beach staffing and schedules are changing in Barnstable.

Veterans, Kalmus and Sea Street/Keyes Beaches will have open bathhouses through Labor Day but will be without lifeguards.

Sandy Neck Beach is without lifeguards, and there is no gate staff, lifeguards and closed bathhouses at Millway and Loop Beaches, Hathaway’s, Joshua’s and Hamblin’s Ponds and Wequaquet Lake.

Craigville and Dowses Beaches will have full service through Labor Day, which includes lifeguards, gate attendants and open bathhouses.
