Stanton Receives Endorsements

SANDWICH – Democrat candidate Jack Stanton, running for the 5th Barnstable State Representative seat, has received the endorsement of the International Union of Elevator and Construction Workers No. 4, they supported Boston Mayor Marty Walsh’s campaign. 

Stanton also received the endorsement of health care unions as well including Mass-Care, an organization that supports a single payer healthcare system. 

Stanton also received the support of the “Run for Something”  group, a national organization that supports younger candidates running for office for the first time. 

Stanton will face off against either current 5th Barnstable Rep Randy Hunt or Barnstable County Commissioner Ron Beaty, the two Republicans will run against each other in a  primary in September. 

The District includes all of Sandwich along with parts of Barnstable, Bourne and Plymouth.
