State Cultural Council Renews HyArts Cultural District’s State Designation

HYANNIS – The Massachusetts Cultural Council (MCC) has renewed the HyArts Cultural District’s state designation.

The district is one of 10 other districts in the Commonwealth to successfully achieve renewal status for another five year designation, and one of 43 designated cultural districts statewide.

The designation was renewed due to the successful compliance with annual reporting requirements and a recommitment by the Town of Barnstable for another five years.

The MCC will celebrate the renewing districts’ successes at the statewide convening on October 17.
