State of the Seashore Address Scheduled

PROVINCETOWN – The public is invited to the annual State of the Seashore Address which takes place next month.

Park Superintendant George Price will present accomplishments at the Seashore over the past year and will be discussing the shorebird management plan, beach erosion at Nauset Light Beach and restoration plans for Herring River, among other topics.

He’ll also look ahead to 2017, and provide plans and updates related to the repairs to the Red Maple Swamp Trail and upcoming repairs to Highland Light.

The discussion will be held at the Salt Pond Visitor Center October 12 at 6:30.
