State Rep. Vieira Endorses Sheriff Cummings for Re-Election

FALMOUTH – Falmouth State Representative David Vieira has thrown his support behind Barnstable County Sheriff Jim Cummings in his re-election bid.

Vieira cited Cummings’ focus on the rehabilitative aspect of corrections and the inmate work release programs as some of the reasons for his support of the Sheriff who is seeking his fourth term.

“I am honored to have the support of Representative Vieira,” said Cummings. “David is a hardworking and dedicated public servant and his support and friendship is most appreciated.”

State Representatives Randy Hunt and Tim Whelan and Falmouth and Sandwich Police Officers have endorsed Cummings who is facing Democrat Randy Azzato.
