HYANNIS – A potential challenger to U.S. Senator Elizabeth Warren will be speaking at a Republican party event on Cape Cod tonight at the Hyannis Golf Club.
State Rep. Geoff Diehl from Whitman will be at the Cape Cod Women’s Republican Club dinner. This marks his second visit to Cape Cod in last the month after speaking at a fundraising event in Bourne in May.
Diehl has previously stated that an official decision on whether to enter the race will come sometime this summer. He has launched an exploratory committee and has opened a federal campaign account.
Diehl was the co-chairman of President Donald Trump’s Massachusetts campaign.
