WOODS HOLE – In anticipation of Memorial Day Weekend, the Steamship Authority is suspending ongoing construction at the Woods Hole Terminal.
In addition, the Authority says work is complete on the slips at the port, bus shelters have been put in place and the passenger loading ramps are fully operational.
Construction will be suspended after work on Thursday and will resume on Tuesday.
The construction barge working on the slips has also been removed for the weekend; the Authority says there will be no delays due to slip availability.
