WOODS HOLE – Mechanical problems have caused some ferry cancellations for the Steamship Authority today.
The ferry provider cancelled two morning runs between Woods Hole and the Vineyard due to issues on the M/V Governor.
It’s not immediately clear what the problems were.
The cancellations come on a busy day for travel to and from the islands as the Memorial Day holiday weekend kicks off.
