Steamship Authority Hires New Communications Director

HYANNIS-  The Steamship Authority has named Sean Driscoll as their new communications director.

Driscoll graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor of Arts in political science and a certificate in journalism.

For the past five years, he has worked at the Cape Cod Times.

The Steamship Authority serves as the largest ferry service to the Islands of Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket from the Cape, offering the most frequent daily departures for passengers, automobiles, groups and trucks.

Driscoll will officially fill the post on June 25th. He takes over amid a tumultuous time for the boat line as they deal with fall out from dozens of service disruptions in recent months because of mechanical issues with various boats.
