Steamship Authority Shuffles Schedule Due To Ferry Repairs

MARTHA’S VINEYARD – The Steamship Authority will have to alter some of its afternoon and evening service, due to necessary repairs to the ferry Martha’s Vineyard.

The ferry has a crack in her bow door that needs to be welded; that work will be done overnight.

Those repairs mean trips after 5:00 PM will be diverted to Vineyard Haven.

It will also require the 9:30 Island Home trip to be cancelled.
