Steamship Authority to Release Comprehensive Study Results

FALMOUTH – The Woods Hole, Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket Steamship Authority is holding a special Board meeting next week.

On Monday, December 17 the Board will review and discuss the comprehensive study of the Authority’s operations conducted by HMS Consulting, Glosten and Rigor Analytics.

HMS Consulting President John Sainsbury will present the report’s findings to the Board, who will then have the opportunity to ask questions or comment on the report. Public comment will also be taken following the presentation.

The report and supplemental material will be posted to the Authority’s website in advance of the meeting, although the precise timing of the release remains contingent on management’s review of the document both for factual errors requiring correction and to ensure compliance with the Massachusetts Public Records Law.

Additionally, hard copies of the report will be available at the meeting for those who attend.
