YARMOUTH – The stormy weather continues to put a damper on the Yarmouth Seaside Festival, with more cancellations announced.
According to the organization’s Facebook page, the canoe and kayak races and the sand sculpture contest on Bass River Beach this morning, have all been called off.
Organizers say the fireworks moved from last night to this evening are still scheduled, weather permitting.
The wind and rain forced the arts and crafts festival to close early on Sunday. The parade was also cancelled.
This is the 38th anniversary of the festival.
