HYANNIS – Students from both the East and West campuses of Sturgis Charter School will participate in a soccer game at the Hyannis Village Green this Friday in observance of the United Nations’ Peace Day.
International Peace Day is a day of global ceasefire and non-violence. In 2001, members of the United Nations unanimously adopted September 21st as Peace Day.
This is the 7th year Sturgis has observed the commemoration, the game will take place Friday morning beginning at 11:30.
