Substance Use Prevention Will Be Subject of Harwich Meeting

HARWICH – The Harwich Democratic Town Committee will address substance use prevention at its November 4^th meeting.  Guest speakers will be substance use counselor Sheila House, Substance use prevention specialist Kim Slade, and Melisa Janiszewski, an Opioid Abuse prevention specialist.  Both Slade and Janiszewski work in prevention, harm reduction, treatment and recovery with the Barnstable County Substance Use Council.  With substance abuse still skyrocketing, this meeting is both timely and important.  It will take place on Saturday November 4^th at the Harwich community center.  You can contact Ray Gottwald at [email protected] for more information, or visit the committee’s Facebook page at Harwich Democratic Town Committee.
