HARWICH – The Harwich Democratic Town Committee will address substance use prevention at its November 4th meeting. Guest speakers will be substance use counselor Sheila House, Substance use prevention specialist Kim Slade, and Melisa Janiszewski, an Opioid Abuse prevention specialist. Both Slade and Janiszewski work in prevention, harm reduction, treatment and recovery with the Barnstable County Substance Use Council. With substance abuse still skyrocketing, this meeting is both timely and important. It will take place on Saturday November 4th at the Harwich community center.
