Summer Concert Series Returns to Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theater

WELLFLEET – A summer concert series returns to the Outer Cape in June and July.

Music on Mondays at the Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theater will feature a new lineup of performers to provide the perfect end to summer day.

The series kicks off with a celebration of the Great American Songbook on June 4. Performers include Debby Larkin and Jim Porcella with vocals, Maggie Scott on piano, Ron Ormsby on bass and drummer Bart Weisman.

Greg Abate takes to the stage on June 11 for a night of Jazz and Latin music. Abate is a jazz saxophonist, flutist, composer and International recording artist who tours the world 225 days per year.

Audiences will be hit with several styles of music on July 2 with Stage Door Canteen. The performance includes jump-swing of the early big bad era, horn-band music similar to Earth Wind & Fire and Tower of Power, Latin sounds, fiery Celtic pipes and whistles, Motown and radio hits.

The final concert on July 9 features Rhythm & Blues guitarist Gregg Sullivan. Sullivan will perform R&B-jazz-groove tunes from The Crusaders, Steely Dan, Jimmy Smith and many more.

All concerts are at 8 p.m. at the air-conditioned Julie Harris Stage. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased at what.org.
