HYANNIS – Dennis businessman Alex Dacunha moved to Cape Cod from his native Brazil at age 19. More than 15 years later, he has a family and his own thriving carpet cleaning business here.
In an effort to help other native Brazilians who are trying to start businesses on the Cape, he helped to start a new Brazilian chamber of commerce-style organization called Professionals of Cape Cod.
He has also joined a new regional group, the Brazil New England Chamber of Commerce, which is trying to make inroads on Cape Cod.
