Sunset Cruise to Benefit Cape Cod Wildlife

BARNSTABLE – Hyannis Whale Watcher Cruises is hosting a sunset cruise on Barnstable Harbor on September 23rd to benefit Cape Wildlife.

From 5-7 p.m., on board naturalists will narrate the history of Sandy Neck, the lighthouse, Barnstable Harbor and fauna and flora.

Learn about Friends of Cape Wildlife efforts’ to support wildlife rehabilitators and the Cape Wildlife Center.

Hors d’oeurves will be served and there will be cash bar with casual dress recommended.

The cost for the cruise is $125 per person, with all the proceeds going to benefit Cape Cod Wildlife.

Friends of Cape Wildlife is comprised of citizens working to provide compassionate medical care and innovative rehabilitation to sick, injured and orphaned birds, mammals and reptiles on Cape Cod.

The group seeks to enable rehabilitators to be self-sustaining and have the support they need to rehabilitate and return wildlife, healthy and whole, back to native habitats.

Cape Wildlife educates to the general public by providing non-lethal solutions when addressing conflicts between people and wildlife and to encourage humane coexistence with our wild neighbors in an ever diminishing environment.
