Swim, Run and Ride with the Buzzards Bay Coalition This Summer

Buzzards BayBUZZARDS BAY – With fun outdoor activities that also help restore Buzzards Bay, everyone can swim, run and ride for clean water with the Buzzards Bay Coalition this summer.

The coalition is counting on an increase in participation to make the summer fundraising season a success.

On June 25, swim with the Coalition for the one to two mile Buzzards Bay Swim.

With only weeks to go, there’s still room for 100 swimmers to sign up for the event to reach the coalition’s goal.

For more information and to register for the event, go to savebuzzardsbay.org.

The coalition is fielding a team for the Falmouth Road Race, which takes place on August 21.

Earn a spot on the team by committing to the $1,000 fundraising minimum, to benefit the coalition.

And ride with the coalition on October 2 for the 10th anniversary of the Watershed Ride.

There is space on the new 100 mile route, but participants can choose from 75, 35 or 10 mile options.

The Buzzards Bay Coalition is a membership-supported nonprofit organization dedicated to the restoration, protection, and sustainable use and enjoyment of the Bay and its watershed.

The Coalition works throughout the Buzzards Bay and Vineyard Sound watersheds to protect and restore coastal, river, and drinking water quality and the upland forests, wetlands, and streams that support a healthy ecosystem.
