T.S. Kennedy Headed for Final Port of Call

OFF THE COAST OF FLORIDA – The T.S. Kennedy’s Sea Term is reaching the final leg of the trip, the ship left St. Thomas in the Virgin Islands on Monday and is expected to reach Tampa, Florida, tomorrow.

That is the final port of call before the ship heads back to Mass Maritime.

The 600 cadets aboard, who run and manage the ship during the two month voyage, have been to Columbia and Barbados, and also transported supplies to storm ravaged Puerto Rico early in the trip, which began in early January.

The ship also provided humanitarian provisions to Haiti.

The Kennedy is scheduled to be back in Buzzards Bay on February 25th.
