TAMPA, Florida – The annual Massachusetts Maritime Academy Sea Term is entering its final week.
The T.S. Kennedy spent its last day in port yesterday in Tampa. It now heads back to Buzzards Bay to wrap up the annual training trip for the 600 cadets on board.
The Kennedy has also made ports of call in Colombia, Barbados, and St. Thomas and took part in a humanitarian aid drop in Haiti.
The cadets onboard are handling all of the vessel’s operations. During the trip cadets have rotated through class and laboratory training and performed maintenance and emergency drills.
