Tap Dancer to Return to Cotuit Center for the Arts

COTUIT – A nationally recognized tap dancer returns to the Cotuit Center for the Arts next weekend.

Ryan Casey, who was named a 2018 Finalist in Choreography by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, will perform “Short & Suite” Saturday, September 8 at 7:30 p.m.

Casey and his band of rhythm makers bring their blend of humor, storytelling and percussion to the stage.

They will stomp, slide and shuffle through a variety of music while portraying numerous characters.

Casey, who began dancing at an early age, has been praised for his “rocketing rhythms and stylish moves” and his “freakishly clean footwork,” along with a thoughtful, comical and satirical approach to performance.

Tickets for the performance are $32 and $27 for balcony seating. There is a $5 discount for members and a $2 discount for seniors.
