OSTERVILLE – The Barnstable Clean Water Coalition and Sara Campbell have announced that they will partner to host a “Shop for a Cause” event next week.
Apparel designer Sara Campbell’s Osterville store at 846 Main Street will be contributing 15% of all sales’ proceeds to the coalition on Thursday, November 9, from 3 to 6 p.m.
In addition to buying some fine clothing and supporting a worthy cause, attendees will also be treated to light refreshments during the one-day only event.
Officials with the shop, who have held similar events in the past, say that Sara Campbell’s corporate philosophy is grounded in philanthropy.
A supportive neighbor whose store is just down the street from the Coalition office, Campbell supports trustworthy altruistic organizations with both local and national ties.
The Coalition’s mission is to protect and restore freshwater bodies of water, including rivers, streams and ponds, marine embayments, and groundwater used for drinking, within the 75 mile-plus boundaries in the Town of Barnstable.
