Three Bays Preservation to Hold Lecture Series on Water Quality

BARNSTABLE – A lecture series to be on Tuesdays through mid-November will address various aspects of Cotuit Bay, North and West Bays.

The Three Bays Preservation Inc., an organization which fosters education and action to protect the natural health and fortitude of the waterways, will sponsor the talks.

Each event will be held on Tuesdays at 5 p.m. at the Osterville Village Library, from now until the final one on November 17th.

The talk on October 18th will cover the birds of Dead Neck Island and will feature a Mass Audubon official.

The following Tuesday, a presentation from the Vice President of Three Bays Preservation will explore the 13 generations of people who have lived on West, North and Cotuit Bays.
