BOSTON – West Tisbury has won the top prize in category 3 of the Massachusetts Municipal Association’s Annual Town Report Contest. Truro and Oak Bluffs took second and third place respectively. They needed a population of less than 5,000 to qualify.
Barnstable came in second in category one, which includes towns with 12,500 or more residents.
Officials were presented their awards on January 20th at the MMA Annual Meeting.
Judges gave consideration to originality, layout, design, quantity and depth of information, organization and usefulness to residents.
The association is a nonprofit that provides services to Bay State towns and cities such as advocacy, online services, education, energy advice and low cost insurance.
