Three Arraigned in Connection with Falmouth Stabbing

FALMOUTH – District Attorney Michael O’Keefe has released the name of the victim who died of knife wound outside The Golden Swan Restaurant in Falmouth Thursday night.

Jaswinder Singh, 46, died from blood loss associated with a cutting wound caused by sharp force trauma.

Jaswinder Singh, an Indian national, was affiliated with the restaurant, as were three men arraigned Monday with intentionally misleading a police investigation.

The three are Salwinder Singh, 60, Karamjit Singh, 24, and Malkit Thind, 48.

The three were held on $100,000 bail. Thind paid the bail and was released over the weekend. The other two remained in custody as of this afternoon.

In a statement from Cape & Islands District Attorney Michael O’Keefe and Falmouth Police Chief Edward Dunne, the victim was originally said to be a 60-year-old man. The victim was actually 46, he said Monday. The mistake came about because of an error at the hospital, he said.
