WAREHAM – The Baker administration Thursday awarded more than $660,000 in grants to towns across the state to support a series of clean energy projects.
The Municipality Energy Technical Assistance grants can be used for a variety of projects by towns, school districts, and water districts.
Provincetown received $12,500, Wareham is in line for $7,500, and Middleboro will get $20,000.
“I am pleased that Middleborough and Wareham are on this year’s list of grant recipients,” said State Representative Susan Gifford (R-Wareham). “My thanks go to the Baker-Polito Administration for again demonstrating that they are not just listening to our local community leaders but delivering valuable financial assistance in order for them to move toward their clean energy project goals.”
