Town Administrator and Candidates Forum Planned in Brewster

BREWSTER – The Brewster Community Network is hosting a forum on Thursday to give citizens the opportunity to meet new town administrator Peter Lombardi and to learn more about candidates running for contested seats in the town election on May 21.

Lombardi arrives in Brewster after stints as the town administrator in Wenham and as the director of policy and administration in the mayor’s office in Newburyport.

At the BCN forum, he will be on hand to meet citizens, offer a brief perspective on his new position and the opportunities and challenges ahead, and answer questions.

In the upcoming election, Kristen Callahan, Laurel Labdon, and Dave Telman are competing for two seats on the school committee, while Joe Ford, Penny Holeman, and James Reynolds are competing for two seats on the board of health.

All have been invited to attend, to offer statements on why they are running, and to respond to questions from audience members.

The forum is scheduled from 6:30 to 8:00 pm at the Brewster Ladies’ Library.
