Town of Barnstable Holds Public Meeting on Dog Park

BARNSTABLE – The Town of Barnstable is holding a public meeting on November 15 to discuss the Barnstable Dog Park.

The meeting will provide residents more information about the updated plan that was created from the July meeting.

Barnstable has received a grant from The Stanton Foundation that will fund up to $250,000 of the park’s costs.

The dog park will be located on Phinney’s Lane near Hathaway’s Pond.

Town officials have been working with the Committee for a Barnstable Dog Park to help in forming a first class, no fee dog park open to the public.

The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. at Barnstable Town Hall.
