MARSTONS MILLS – A community discussion will be held in Marstons Mills tonight on the status of the project to revamp the village’s center.

Residents will get updates on design process, funding, and revised plans for a cross section for Cotuit Road and Main Street.

Plans call for sidewalks, improved parking, landscaping and new drainage for the project area, which includes Route 149 from Route 28 to Lovells Lane. Plans also include a new pedestrian boardwalk and walkway on Route 149 near Mill Pond.

At a meeting in April, town officials said work would most likely begin in spring of 2016

The forum gets underway at the Marstons Mills Community Church at 7 o’clock.
